More Details Revealed About Apple’s iPhone SE 2

Based on how well-received the iPhone XR is and how well the iPhone 11 seems to be doing, it appears that Apple is aware that maybe they might have priced themselves out of the market with its newer iPhones. It is also why it doesn’t come as a surprise to learn that Apple could be trying to tempt customers with the iPhone SE 2.

For those who are unfamiliar, the iPhone SE was originally released in 2016 where it was basically a cheaper iPhone for those who could not or did not want to spend too much money on Apple’s newer flagships. It has been 3 years its launch, and last we heard, its successor could finally be coming in 2020.

Now according to a report from analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, additional details about the upcoming handset has been revealed. According to Kuo’s research note, the iPhone SE 2 is expected to be powered by the A13 chipset used in Apple’s 2019 iPhone 11. It will come with 3GB of RAM and will be offered in either 64GB or 128GB storage options. Also, based on an earlier report, it is also expected to sport a design similar to the iPhone 8.

It’s actually surprising that the iPhone SE 2 could come with pretty high-end specs given that the phone is rumored to cost as low as $399, but like we said, the trends all seem to be pointing towards customers wanting cheaper phones, so this could be a way for Apple to lure new customers in and bring old customers back.
